After a wet winter left my old kennel mouldy, the vet recommended a raised, insulated option for my old Labrador, Bruce. This Nordic Modern one certainly looks the part in the backyard – the clean white design is a winner. The elevated floor keeps him off the cold ground and the assembly was straightforward. It’s decent, but there’s room for improvement. The main issue is the entrance size; for a big lad like Bruce, it’s a bit of a squeeze. He doesn’t mind, but I wouldn’t recommend it for larger breeds. It keeps him dry and he’s happy, so that’s what matters.
